When it comes to sand filter media for your pool, the amount of sand required depends on the filter size. Here are the manufacturer-recommended amounts for sand filter media:

• 21" Sand Filter: Approximately 60 kilograms (approx 132lbs) of sand.
• 25" Sand Filter: Around 100 kilograms (approx 220lbs) of sand. (Water TechniX Aspire 25 inch)
• 28" Sand Filter: Approximately 160 kilograms (approx 352lbs) of sand. (Water TechniX Aspire 28 inch)
• 32" Sand Filter: Requires 280 kilograms (approx 560lbs) of sand. 
• 36" Sand Filter: Needs 360 kilograms (approx 720lbs) of sand.

Remember to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and ensure proper installation. Properly sized sand filter media ensures efficient filtration and keeps your pool water clear and inviting. Happy swimming! 

Note: Sand / Glass media is always measured by weight and not by volume as volume may differ depending on settling, dryness, pipe configuration and so on. As long as you have the recommended sand amounts then you should be good to go.
