How do I clean my pool light lens?Updated a year ago

NOTE: If you have Water TechniX Pool LED Lights, there is nothing to remove, simply wipe off the other surface and you should be good to go.

If you have older pool lights or LED lights from other brands that have detachable covers, read on!

Due to the construction of older pool lights, you may find grime or algae on the front lens cover of your pool light. By following the simple instructions on this page, you should have your pool lights shining like new in no time.

Step 1: Turn of the mains leading to the pool. While this step is entirely optional as you will not be accessing the wires, it's always best to be safe when tinkering with anything electric that's wet.

Step 2: Locate the notch / lens tab on the 2-o'clock position and gently push it with a flathead screwdriver. With the screwdriver inserted, gently pull the lens downwards and away from the body.

Step 3: Cleans the outer lens cover and the inner lens with a soft/non-abrasive hand towel or rag.

Step 4: Once done, place the bottom of the front lens on to the body of the light. Align the retention clips (there should be 3 of them) and the small lens tab on the 2 o'clock position and gently push on the cover until it clicks into place.
